 The Turkey Shoot this year will be held on September 26th and 27th at the same location as the previous Varsity events (west of White Hills.) Bring your own shotguns, shells and your own food. Hot chocolate will be provided. Friday night there will be a campfire ceremony at 9:00 P.M. At 8:30 A.M. Saturday morning there will be a flag ceremony. For more information contact Doug Reid , Jason Fisher or Charlie Smith . Contact Charlie Smith to register so we know how many participants to provide clay pigeons for.

 Please join The Pony Express District at the Pine Valley North Group
Campground (Loop “C”) (10 miles east of Kamas) on September 26th and
27th for 2008 Fall Camporee. Our theme is "Back to Nature." Over the
last year our district has survived the shrub oak, fought the freeze
and digested the dust of the Pony Express trail. We felt it was time to
take it to the pines and get back to nature.

 In addition to the training that the district runs the Utah National Parks Council will be hosting
Basic Training courses each month at the Orem Service Center. This
adult leader training includes New Leader Essentials and Leader
Specific Training. This gives new leaders another option when trying to find a training time that fits their schedule. Training has never been more convenient. Click here to register online!

 Attention all scouters! Because we have so many leaders attending our great roundtabels we've out grown the building we are in! This is a wonderful problem to have. Starting this month (February) we will be hosting roundtable at two different buildings. The Scout, Varsity and Venture roundtables will still be held in the same place. All of the cub leaders will be meeting at the Smith Ranch building insted of the Silver Lake building. The Smith Ranch building is at

Along with this change in location for the cubs we are changing the times of some of the other meetings that happen along side roundtable. ADCs, Commissioner Staff Meeting will be from 6:30-7:30 at the Silver Lake building (same place, different time.) ADCs will meet from 7:30-8:15, District Committee will meet from 8:15-9:00.
